Nice looking bike - one of my colleagues in the company cycling club has one and he raves about it. As to where you could test, unsure, sorry. I'll see if I can find out where he got it from.

Charles Purton Imports

Their web site doesn't have a list of dealers under "where to buy" Sad

No indication as to how you get a test ride, so I suggest you give them a call or email.

This shop is most definitely a dealer of this brand and has a large range of models. The guy to speak with is Adrian.

The Commencal bikes are great...I've rented a Meta 5.5 during a Nepal / Himalaya MTB trip - trip description and pics are here...

Ride impressions on the Commencal bikes were fantastic: excellent tracking, subtle steering and very well made - sturdy but light. (Gee Atherton won the recent World Cup run on a Commencal)

They have earned a great reputation and reviews all over Europe...I was seriously looking to buy one when I came back to Oz, but the current models weren't available at the time.

Since then Kuringai Cycles at Hornsby and Belrose Bicyles (closer to you - ask for Adrian) became local stockists and do some great deals on current models with good specs. Worth checking out!

Nice break from the US-dominated offerings in Oz!

I bought one a few months back. It's great!! worth every penny. Climbs like a mountain goat , loves going dowhill.. Downside is the paint jobs are not wonderful but i'd recomend getting one. Keep an eye out for the carbon frame coming out soon.

I like them too, I rented a hard tail while over in England and liked it a lot.

Well worth checking out....
