Rize RZ 120 or 140
Howdy
As one does I am thinking about N + 1.
The Rize has caught my eye - since the Rush has been my steed of choice for the last few years.
Seems to get generally good reviews, but well reviews is reviews...
Anybody got one of these or tested one for more than around the block and can comment?
cheers

If you're keeping the Rush get the 140, if it's a Rush replacement get the 120.
I heard a pro quoted as saying that it's an unfair advantage how well they pedal given the travel they have so you could say they are OK
I have a 2009 Rize 130 and it is one of the most fun bikes I've been on. It eats up the Dam with ease and has given me the confidence to do the small and mid sized gap jumps at Oxford falls. I have the alloy framed '3' and have upgraded a couple of things and got the weight down to 11.5kg. With a flat handle bar and a longer stem it would be a great enduro/24hr racer. The only problem with this bike, is Zo and I fight every time about who's turn to ride it!!
Not sure if I can add another to the stable - was thinking of upgrading the Rush to something with a little more travel that I can also use of the 24's and enduro events - although I gotta say at my age it's probably 50's from now on (erm after the Fling I mean).
Or I could just add more bling to the Rush - there is plenty to do but given it is at least 3 years old and done plenty of clicks not sure I can be bothered... Already done rims, brakes, cassette, both derailleurs, BB and chain rings... could go bars, seatpost, tubeless, and a few others, but it will still be an upgraded Rush 5... feels heavvy... like the thought of carbon lefty ooooaaaahhh! Really noticed big difference in performance upgrading roadie to a carbon frame and great components, assume will feel similar gains with MTB... true?
Warren, seems like you have a stable of 'dales!! Thanks for the review.
