Sat early Menai Single Track
By the sports field on Old Illawarra Road, Barden Ridge. Well I've never been there, so this is just what the database told me.
I'm finally about ready to ride again and I've never been to Menai. Given I've got to be on that side of town on Saturday morning, sounds like a great time to squeeze in a quick spin.
Somebody want to show me where it is and whip me around a trail? I've heard good things about it and I wanna get some for myself... I guess I'm around the intermediate skill and fitness level and the photos of this place look awesome.
Wayno's ride invitation a few weeks ago sounded good and even though I've now got two hours, it's no reason you can't all stay on for the rest of the day!

Can you get there at 7am and make it a 2 hour ride. 1 hour doesn't allow much time to see whats there!
I'm ok for a 7am start also.. before the snakes.. !!
I had another stop before this, but I've managed to bring if forward to tomorrow night.
So I'm in for 7am Saturday.

Yes. There are many good things about Menai! I'd tell you but, better you experience it for yourself. Just remember to wear your pads!! It does gets alittle rocky. Have fun
Would love to join the ride but will be bikeless as I am getting rid of it to get a better one so I can climb those damn hills better lol

After the last ride I got a few and had to admit that I should wear them all the time anyway, so they'll be there.

Have already made plans to cycle in and around the city. Breakfast in Balmain then Trollop around on the streets of the city on the MTBike, more fun then slicks.
Andy, you coming to this.. I'm going to take a look at that log -- in the daylight -- to see what the landing is like.. Do you actually ride along the top it or inside it.. ?
