I am heading up the coast for a few days and plan on riding Glenrock State Conservation Area. I have never ridden here before so I am not sure how long is enough (I will have all day to ride ) so 4 hours seems a good start.

I'll see if I can wrangle some time to play tour guide. Be warned though, I have been off the bike for 3 months, so if I can make it, fitness is not my forte.
That would be great if you could. As for fitness, I'm just getting back on the bike after at least a 6 month absence.
Will be just a few km down the road am holidaying up that way at xmas but will have the hybrid with skinny's on, the Trance is staying home for a rest
running right down the side of the main area is
Fernleigh Rail Trail
might be concious in the morning and if whatsy makes it there woul dbe two more along, no promises
In case we don't get a tour guide I have found a GPS file for a loop but there does look to be a lot more tracks then this
I will load this on my garmin.

then you'll have plenty of time to ride around a lot of it. You might not find all the best tracks, but there are no real worries about getting lost for days... The ocean is on one side, and the area where you start is on an east facing slope pretty much, so if you get lost you can just head up the hill away from the water... Once you hit a road, chances are you won't be too far from your starting point... Well, give or take... There is some construction work going on near the sewage treatment plan which cuts off a couple of link ups, but there are ways around it.
If I'm around I'll come too.
It's not looking good for tomorrow. Does anyone know how these tracks hold up in wet weather. If its raining at the time I will have to cancel it
It might be all right ? the north side is no go in the wet, south side holds up better it been raining all day here not heavy tho.
Sorry Brian, i'm gonna pull out of this ride.Looks the this rain is going to continue with some heavy falls o/nite plus i have some christmas presents which this weather is perfect for. I will still have a ride up there soon probably a few days after the rain stops, if you or anyone else is interested send me a message.
This is cancelled . The long term forecast doesn't look good but I will definitely be back and posting a ride .
