Ourimbah State Forest Meeting Point:
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.

Did it today for the first time... wow! what a blast.
Superbly maintained and marked XC track, roller coaster has to be the best section of the whole track ( how much fun is that )
Did 3 laps and was keen for a 4th, but ran out of stuff to drink, even drank some old coke zero I found under the seat after lap 2 so I could do a 3rd lap
( it was hot out there today )
I'm in if it does not rain too much over the weekend.
Hint.. don't just follow your GPS like I did and drive the fire trails from Palmdale.. ( wow! what a blast in the car... not )
any thoughts on the wet? im happy to ride in the rain, are u'all?
It gets greasy in the wet. The wet roots on the switchback climbs make things - shall we say - interesting. I'd have Ignitors or similar on all round at a minimum. Crossmarks or Larsens will clog up quickly and be useless in damp conditions.
if it's not raining i'll be there the track does stand up to the rain quite well,& the rain hasn't been too heavy here.
I'm out, wet trails are not my thing.

im going to sit on the fence till morning see what the weahters doing. at the moment though it looks 80% out.

I live 10minutes away from the track & it's been raining here again o/nite,so i'm out , i might go out for a look later today if it stops raining& the sun comes out.
