The guy who did me just before Christmas only got 6 points off his licence and $550 in fines. Sad

Hey Hawkeye

I'd hoped that in the circumstances ( police witness etc. ) that he'd warrant some meaningful punishment . . . . . The pesimist in me thought he might get away with being banned. Sounds like he got off even lighter than that. Do you know what he was actually charged with ?

Neg driving (3pts) and Failing to stop and exchange particulars after an accident (3pts). For some reason the criminal charge of failing to stop and render assistance was not considered.

I'm going ot chase up on that.
