I saw these lights and was wondering what the people who know more have to say about them:

HA-III Cree SSC P7-C: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.29489
HA-III SSC P7-C: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.25149

Both claim to be 900 lummen and in total it would around 180AU$.

Looking forward to your input.

Thanks

In the end I ordered these from deal extreme:
sku 04151 TrustFire All-in-One Charger (for 10430/10440/14500/16340 /17670/18650/CR123A) $8.81 -
sku 12623 MTE SSC P7 C-Bin 900-Lumen 2-Mode LED Flashlight (1*18650) $33.70 -
sku 26249 UltraFire 18650 3.7V 3000mAh Lithium Batteries (2-Pack) $11.93 -
sku 29489 HA-III Cree SSC P7-C (SXO) 3-Mode 900-Lumen LED Headlamp Set (4*18650 included) $82.45 -

I received the pakage last week and went out to test it tonight. I can't compare with other lights since this is the first set of lights I have but I could ride pretty well. It was not day light but was good enought.

The package took less than 2 weeks to arrive and everything got home in working condition.

The MTE SSC P7 is a lot weaker than the HA-III. I kind of regreted saving the few dollars by buying this one instead of another HA-III, althought the reason was to have a different beam with similar power. The beam is different, kind of more focused but weaker and it doesnt bring any handle bar so I am still trying to adapt something more permanent (I used some silver tape, a pump holder and an old light holder).

I read that the HA-III generates too much heat and it doesn't disipate it well. The torch I got has that problem fixed or the ride was too short to get too hot. It was around the Centenial Park off road and it took me around 40 minutes. At the end of the ride both lights were warm but I could handle them with naked hand with no problem.

The elastic band for the HA-III to wear on the helmet works perfect, the cable is a bit short but i put the battery attached to the strap of the camel back on its higher part and it didn't bother during the ride. Also I set the band in a way that I hope that if it gets cought is a brach it will fall away without my head, although it will surely brake the cable connection with the batteries.

All in all I am happy with the purchase so far. I will update in a few months (if i remember) to see what happened after a few rides and my usuall carelessness with the gear.

Sorry about the grammar errors and mispellings, hopefully the "review" can be understood and helps someone.

Cheers
