Thinking of a ride to scrub my brakes in properly, i think its gonna be around the 28km mark.
Not sure about date thou im expecting my pads to arrive tomorrow but who no's when! Thinking for this weekend assuming i get the pads but if not next week.
Anyone interested in perimeter plus some more goodies?

Subject to the results of today's x-rays, I'd be interested in a late Saturday session. I've got some new brakes to try out as well.
I can do either Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Just letting you know I did Perimeter & Long a couple of weeks ago and Cowan is closed to MTB, sign at the start clearly states walkers only
. Saturday is forecast to be a bit cooler
How long ago was your ride? Apparently the track had been opened to MTB - see here http://nobmob.com/node/11782
It would be a shame if they have closed it again.
Just to clarify if my pads don't arrive today or tomorrow its no go but next week defiantly.
I took this photo this month![Smiling Smiling](https://nobmob.com/sites/all/modules/smileys/packs/Example/smile.png)
I rode it on 2nd and again on 4th of Jan and paid particular attention to the signs as I know it has been closed/opened/closed etc. Both days there was a sign on the right hand side of the gate that stated walkers only. I didn't have my phone so couldn't take a snap.
Perhaps it was put up over the Xmas New Year period to reduce traffic on the trail??
Anyway I am keen for a ride either day so can take a look and update with accurate info
Good to see the trail is open. I haven't ridden too much on the NB's but does the signage get changed often
Your not getting Cowan and Smiths confused as I think Smiths is walkers only.
about 500 meters past the junction with perimeter. In the top left corner (where it looks like a sign has been removed) there was a sign which was just a walker inside the red circle and "walking track only" where the MTB permitted sign is now attached. The no vehicles sign was up and I didn't notice the MTB permitted words on it as I had already seen walking track only. Anyway it looks like MTB's are good to go now
Its a good little out and back
My pads arrived today! Installed and ready to go EXCEPT. My front rotors rubing, theres litterally only to actions on or off and theres no power.
Im guessing its just that i need to bed them in an maybe bleed them :S
And i posted the ride for this sunday.

Try loosening off the caliper and re centering them and tighten them back up.
Thanks but ive already done that a good few times. Im guessing they need to be blead especially since my rotor is just touching on the pads and theres still a cm of play between taking and the lever, there should be like a mm if there wasn't air in the lines ??
Thanks
