Hi I'm thinking of heading up to Orimbah this weekend for the xcountry. I can't seem to work their site ( I'm a computer illliterate) so can anyone help with.
1. can i rock up on the day, pay, and ride?
2. Instead of buying a day licence can I buy a year MTBA licence on the day?
3. Where is the track? (Orimbah looks like it's got more than one street)
4. Am I going to look out of place with flats and wearing shorts? (and camelbak)

You can rock up and get a day license. They organised year licenses for riders last month, but I think MTBA have changed it this year so you need to go through their website to arrange (they just did it as a favour last month).
Racing is just past the tree top adventure park on red hill road. Google map either and you can't go wrong. It's 300-400 metres further up the fire trail from the tree top thing.
As to clothing etc.. No worries, heaps of camelbaks and shorts running around... And after all, a few minutes of racing and you won't be worrying about anything but oxygen and pain.
