CCOMTB - Club Race - 2010 Round 2
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.
Awesome race at the best track around (ok, so I'm biased). Come along and race, and be home for lunch. Please park at the upper car park, I believe the lower one shouldn't be used by MTB riders any more.
XC Race day Fees are $15.00 plus an additional $15 for an MTBA day license if you don't have one. Registration is from 8am, racing starts at 9.30 sharp.

I was really keen on this one, 'specially as the 'gang's going
I even went out and got new tyres and fitted them up (small block 8's front and rear). They replace the racing Ralphs that were very scuffed up in the sidewalls.
But there's just too much going on inlife to travel all that way for a shortish ride. And I've got an early afternoon commitment too.
So, I'll go and do a bunch of laps of the dam, and get the feel of the SB8 on the front ready for the Mont.
Have fun - it's going to be a great race - you guys all being on the circuit together.

Now..... can Steve01 give Gazza a solid challenge?
Is Ladytoast going to be the dark horse and come through?

Not with last nights night time, single speed, no lights, no gloves, no brains, Manly Dam OTB stack he isn't!
Sorry you can't make it Steve, it was going to be a fast one with you there, I'll just have to settle for breathing in Steve01's and Gazza's dust, and be happy to finish.
Good luck with the small blocks, keen to see hope you go on them. I have sort of gone off them and gone back to the Larsens, but you might have better luck.
