A Big Thanks
I know it's been said a few times inside various threads, but I wanted to say a BIG thanks to Rob, Hawkeye and everyone who actively got involved in campaigning for the re-opening of the Dam and it's successful outcome.
More importantly, without the very existence of this site I'm not sure if we would have had the same outcome, so thank to all those who actively participate maintaining the site.
Some forums can be full of over opinionated, uninformed users but here I think there is great attitude that encapsulates the spirit of mountain biking in many ways.
Anyway, enough gushing from me - just wanted to officially say a big thanks to those who run the site.

This site is just a vehicle, great thanks must also be paid to everyone who got onboard and wrote in to get the decision altered.
A lot of people complain that we talk about advocacy too much here, but really... creating, maintaining and caring for trails is all part of the sport. Sadly lobbying like that needed of late is too, but hopefully this will send a big message to local councils and other land managers about the need for legal riding venues.
