Our valuable team member Stuart had a stack last Sunday; he's currently in MV hospital.

How did it happen?

The crash happend only about 1.5km into Towlers Bay track. It was at the second waterbar and we where not very fast. The Ambos where very, very good.

Great to have so many people pull together when it counts to get me to hospital. The pictures are amazing and I was not aware there was so much going on.

I’m in traction for 6 weeks and getting a good insight into hospital life. I have a million dollar view over Mona Vale beach and learnt to recognise what piece of medical equipment is being moved down the corridor by the sound the casters make on the floor. I did have a serious dislike of needles but finding that facing my fear is good therapy and by next week I reckon I will be able to watch as the blood is sucked out of my arm without feeling woozy. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Stuart
