I'm sure this has been said before but the delivery times of jensonusa.com rock. Did some late night shopping on Saturday night and the order got delivered this morning. Awesome Smiling

I was just about to post how bad JensonUSA sucks! How random that you posted something good about them first. I ordered some shoes from them exactly 2 months ago and just got them this morning!!! Yes, that is right, 2 months!!! About a month ago I contacted them about it and they said it was because my shoes were on backorder and would get them soon. After a couple more weeks I complained and they gave me free shipping but I had to go 2 whole months with no mountain biking shoes as I had thrown my old ones out thinking it'd only be a week before I'd get my new ones...bad idea. I will never order from them again due to my experience. I did save some money but don't think it was worth it. Just a heads up, maybe it was just an odd occurrence?

Once parts are on back order its any ones guess. When they were first noted as being on back order did they give you the option of cancelling?

I personally don't order anything that's not in stock mainly because once I decide I want something (normally a long process) I want it yesterday Smiling
If there is no other option I factor in a long wait Eye-wink

Brian , as i'm after a 160mm Avid rotor ,I got stuffed around by a LBS I wanted it today now I have to travel further to get it at a good price for I want it on the bike tomorrow night for the weekend. This is one off the reasons Y
i don't always support local shops

I've been buying from Jenson for over 5 years (don't ask what I've spent there Eye-wink )
They've been really good and the shoes issue must be a one-off.
I highly recommend them, althought the freight can sometimes get a bit high.
Tip: The order that you put things in your basket seems to influence the shipping cost. Sometimes I start with a few small things then add the bigger ones, rather than the other way around. It seems to come out lower if I go that way.

My experience with Jenson has been great. I have been ordering pasrts for 4-5 years now and they never miss a beat. I had some items damaged in transit, and they replaced the whole order, no questions. They didn't even want the damage stock back. You can make an on line order on Thursday and have your goods delivered on Monday by Fed Ex. You can't beat that. Try to do the same locally and you end up waiting weeks. That's BS.
My experience with LBS has been pretty average to say the least, arrogant service, parts not in stock, and well over priced. It's a shame they haven't got their act together, and given the www has made the globe a smaller place they need a rocket up them.

Don't be too hard on LBS pricing.... look at some of the prices for the Dirtworks carpark sale, some products aren't much cheaper then the overseas price

I wasn't comparing this to my lbs but just saying how impressed I was with the delivery time Smiling
