I just had an order "complete" on CRC - when I ordered it was equiv to $535 - it just hit my CC at $578 - My Probike order was 160 and hit at 171 also this week - so I hope the golden days are not over
Slightly OT...
I find it odd that the AUD is diving when the USA, Euro Zone and UK appear to be in much worse economic shape. The so called, 'flight to safety' of the USD is ridiculous. Herd mentality and all that.
The AUD will no doubt come back up, but yeah, it's a pi55er if you are buying O/S this week. Mind you, can't complain too much - things are still a lot cheaper there.
and expectations around them are the primary drivers of a currency's value in the developed economies.
It's looking like our property market is softening significantly, so interest rates may level out or even drop, hence buying interest has softened and FX rates go down.
"Flight to quality" ... not convinced.
