What an awesome way to win a bike! for only $10

As promoted in the Manly Daily and 2GB with Jason Morrisen, the community are getting together to help a local guy who can really do with some help.

Detective Sergeant Robert (Rob) Mulheron is more like a brother than a cousin to me, we lived together and laughed as we grew up on the Northern Beaches, but now at 34 years young, he has been fighting aggressive cancer for the past 5 years. Everytime I ride, I am reminded by our beautiful environment and how fortunate I am to enjoy it - not everyone is as fortunate. I am a regular Red Hill rider and am hoping that the biking community might find this cause and prize a great opportunity.

Rob and his wife are both Police Officers and have committed their lives to helping the community, we are trying to give some back. They also have a 2 year old daughter.

Northside Cyclery at Chatswood have given us a Medium Specialized FSR XC Comp - a great dual suspension bike for cross country.

If you would love the opportunity to win this bike, go to the following website www.robmulheronbenefit.com.au and buy some raffle tickets.

If you have any friends that might be interested, or have any ideas to help in other ways, please contact me.

Thanks in advance

Dean

I can only begin to imagine how hard it would be to go through that.

I hope you guys win, not many tickets have actually been sold for the $10 raffle, so it is actually pretty good odds.

I have been blown away by the local community spirit, they are the people who stick by and help each other out when people need it most, not the big corporations.

Keep healthy and ride hard - if any of you want to catch up for a ride around Red hill on a Sunday morning, happy to show you around - usually meet at first light at the sports academy.

Best wishes to the family - I'm off to purchase some tickets next. I lost a best friend to cancer a couple of years ago - it's an evil disease, my thoughts are with you.
