Cracked frame Mark II
Just thought i'd post the photos of my Scott Nitrous 20 having cracked for the second time.
It cracked over a year ago and i got it welded back together but the crack recently opened up again after I started doing some serious DH on it.
The below photos show the front triangle only and the crack. The crack actually extended around the other side as well but was hairline thin.
So i got the crack welded up again, gave the bike to my brother and bought myself a Mongoose Boot'r Team.

Nice one. Looks like it will handle anything.
Yeah heaps lighter, pedals better, handles better (lower BB) etc.
I did Stromlo DH last weekend with it and have done Hassan Walls and some other DH tracks and it handles everything that im game enough to try.
I just need a second longer seatpost so i can do AM stuff on it. It actually pedals really well, just crank up the low speed compression on both front and rear and it doesnt bounce at all.
