Physio Recommendation
Howdie,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good sports physio on the northern beaches (preferrably close to Allambie Heights). My son has torn his Achilles tendon and I am looking for a second opinion / therapy. Cheers, Mick

Blair Martin is very good. A hands on Physio, no gagets or machines, and an elite rider. 0406 661 760
Allambie Sports Physio? They've been helping me with my shoulder rehab.
Other options:
Martin Krause Back in Business Physiotherapy 9922-6806. Can be hard to get into see - demand for his services is high. Also a cyclist. I was referred to him by bike fit guru Steve Hogg. If I have cycling-related issues, this is THE guy I go see.
I think he might need a sports DR/orthopod first for a diagnosis/treatment plan
Much appreciated guys. Thanks for the leads. I have been using the Allambie Sports Physio at Allambie shops but just want to get a second opinion as he is still struggling after 4 weeks. He tried returning to the rugby field last week but pulled up lame. May try an orthopod and then Martin for some physio treatment. Cheers, Mick
This guy is a sport doctor that i've used before and think he is very good.

I used these guys when I tore my calf muscle. Andrew Ryan worked wonders - http://www.nsmcp.com.au/
Highly recommended!
They are the physio arm of the people in the link in the post above.
I've taken your advice and booked my son into Narrabeen Sports Physio. Much appreciated. Cheers, Mick.
Let us know how he goes.
Mark Brakel at skyline shops above subway....there are a few guys there that i've been to for lots of various injuries, and they've always fixed me up.He deals with sports injuries. Nothing will ever be fixed in one visit though, and it takes input from the patient as well................vc
Thanks VC for the tip. We're booked in for Friday at Narrabeen so I'll explore that option first but always good to have a network of physios. Will provide feedback. Cheers, Mick
