How's this weekend looking?
So... where to go on Saturday?
I'd like to say that something around the Wildflower Garden sections might be fun but things there can't have been that dry last weekend and we've had showers most of the week to compound any wetness. That stuff back of the gun club takes a long, long time to dry and can imagine it's a bog right now.
Anyone game for another 'super easy' Terrey Hills in the morning? Or a not so super easy one if you like (DH+C+P+L+DH+C)? Later start (9-9:30?) preferred.
P.S. I will maybe be game for some <cough>scumming</cough> later on Sunday if anyone is interested.

This is the last weekend of my brother visiting so we are probably doing the Oaks on Friday or Saturday and family commitments Sunday.
I'll be on the new road bike in Centennial Park!!!!!
@LTEC... West Head & Akuna Bay is the place for that sort of stuff.
I could be in for both scumming and MTB.
Infact more than likely I will be in for both.
I'm looking to do something called "easy endurance" on Saturday (ie nothing that gets the HR up too high), and a harder hitout (for me ) for a couple of hours on Sunday. Prefer starting middle of the day/early afternoon due to other commitments.
That's what the training plan says I should do anyway.
Prefer trails - get enough of scumming during the week with the ride to work. Could possibly have my arm twisted to do the saturday session on the road in the right company
Thinking a couple of laps of DH+C for Sat, and Cascades for Sunday if conditions suit, otherwise DH+C again at a harder pace.
I could be persuaded to bring my downhill bike along for one DH+C before I go on some proper downhill riding.
I would be keen on a few laps of DH+C...
@ Rob. Akuna Bay - West Head is a great ride but the park allows you to get into a good rhythm. Much better for specific training, especially low hr stuff, and getting to know a new bike.
Apparently it's been mostly coastal showers so I'll be heading out there on the weekend sometime, hopefully.

I pick up a new roadie (for fitness purposes only!) on Saturday morning so am keen for a good hit out on that to rack up some kms. Probably a few laps of the Dam as well depending on how the rain has affected it.
Unless tomorrow and sat are dry and hot. I dare say, the dam is out this weeekend. It's been raining on and off all day today in Brooky.
Pending weather, I'm thinking about doing chiltern, then DH-C a couple of times, then back up chiltern. But that's also dependant on me losing this shite flu/cold grommit I've got...
... put CX tyres on it then Dave? I've seen guys with slicks on around the Dam, and it was, um, interesting to watch.
I am inspired by this BikeRadar clip. I get myself into enough trouble with a nice plush 5 inches of travel. I would dead on a roadie a the Dam....except the bit near laboratory, I would rocket up that.
Rain Rain Rain
Trails are going to be quite damp I would imagine?
I could be in for scumming even with the rain on Sunday though.
