Stop confusing people Rob
It's a list of tracks that can be ridden together.
Duck Holes, Centre , Perimeter, Long, Duck Holes, Centre
It's shortened trail names...
I.e. DH = Duck Holes; C = Centre; P = Perimeter and L = Long...
Those are the abbreviated names for the trails @ Terry Hills. DH = Duck Hole C = Centre P = Perimeter L = Long Track. And they are great trails for newbies ! Have fun out there .....
What's this got to do with me?
In what context?
Edit OK I had no idea where he was getting the Ds and Cs from... and the real answers are above
DH = down hill
XCO = Olympic format Cross Country ie x number of laps on a looped course (6-10km)aiming for an elite wining time around 2hr
XCC = Cross Country criterium ie short course loop usually <1km certain time (20min) + x number of laps
XCM = Cross counrty marathon. Point to point type race
XCE = Cross country Enduro, looped course most laps in so many hours
Mtn X = Aussie version of 4x. Uses a bmx style moto system where riders have 4 races to earn points to progress to Finals
4X = Kinda like a Mountain bike version of BMX racing. 4 riders race down a short track with jumps, berms and other obstacles. Usual riders have a timed run to get seeded and then 2 top riders from each race progress to next round. 2 loser are eliminated
DJ= Dirt Jumping
Free ride= different for every body but generally big jumps and drops with style
Slope Style = Short compition version of Free style
All Mountain = bit of every thing thrown in to the one ride
.....
@Flynny... confuse the bloke why don't you!
The other guys are correct - I was talking about trails in Terrey Hills.
Nice list of disciplines though Flynny
Cheers guys,
I was just confused with the "DH+C+P+L+DH+C" abbreviations. Been riding for years (mostly UK), been out of it for the last 2 though, back now and bloody loving the rides over here so am looking to meet up with riders and get to know the areas better.
I'll check out Terrey Hills.
Thanks again and hopefully see you out there.
