Martin Whitley is a freaking legend!
DH course looked fairly tame and well groomed, the fact that the XC course ran down it gives the XC guys a fair advantage, be interesting if they threw them down something steep and technical......
Still I remember just after Paul Rowney retired from XC he rocked up to a Thredbo DH race and took 10th, but again Thredbo has a rep amoung DH racers as 1 long pedally B line.

Yeah it's a common responce the the much asked question from racers going to Threders (And Lithgow too for that matter) for the first time
