Need to get some reasonably priced brake pads (Hayes HFX-9) for Benji's bike before his Fat Tyre race on the weekend.

Any suggestions for a shop that keeps them in stock in the local area? Or do you have some laying around? Otherwise Benji will keep on going to fast down that muddy chute at Awaba. Smiling

Here's a picture of the brakes....

Thanks in advance.

Rgds, Hans

If you can't find them in a shop try this guy on ebay, http://stores.ebay.com.au/Ride-Industries?_rdc=1.

He's a newy local and a good bloke so should be able to get them too you pretty quick.

Try DYHub.
They were good for all sorts of parts and pads when I had Hayes 9. I now run Avid as I had endless problems with the master cylinder diaphrams.

I got my last set at Phantom. If you call them today they should be able to get them to you by Friday.

and are *really* stuck I have a set of Shimano LX dual-control shifters and hydro brakes with metallic pads and an XT rear derailleur that you could borrow for the event.

Budget 90 minutes for the swap.
