Apologies for the very late notice. Sad

With our AMBC skills course being bumped to next weekend we've decided to take the opportunity while we can to fit in a short visit with family near Taree. Naturally, that will involve a session at Kiwarrak. Smiling

I've only ridden here once with the wonderful folks from the Bourke's Bikes shop ride, so any locals looking for Sunday cruise would be most welcome to tag along... you'll help us not get too lost! My young bloke is pretty unfit, so the pace will be decidedly social. Or you can do hill repeats while we wait for him to catch up if you want. Eye-wink

I'll be leaving Sydney hopefully 7:30pm tonight and won't have computer access over the weekend, so would appreciate a local choosing to attend to send me an SMS on Saturday that you're coming. Otherwise we'll assume no takers and may choose to come earlier or later depending on how we pull up from the day before's activities.

My mobile's in my profile. If you could keep an eye on who else is attending so we know how many to expect on Sunday that would be most helpful.

See you there!

Hey Hawkeye, unfortunately the vast majority of us locals are down at Awaba this weekend for the 8 hr Fat Tyre. Some other time.

when I dropped into Bourkes' at Tuncurry for a backup inner tube.

Robbie, if you were local we could have picked you up... unfortunately I was flat tack packing for the trip and didn't get to check back here before we left.

We had a lot of fun, got royally lost LOL! and shot some very average video from a bar-mounted camera that I'll edit and post in the next couple of days.

We were looking for Sweet As but I think we didn't go far enough west... the fire road climb I remember that takes you up to the top of the descent that leads into it eluded us. We found a couple of fire roads but they didn't look quite right. You guys seem to have built a lot more tracks since I was there 6 months ago.

We found Heartrate Hill, Two Dogs, Granny's and quie a few others.

Look forward to catching you next time.
