Riders needed for Manly Dam photo oportunity - tomorrow!
Now... although Manly Dam is closed I've been contacted by a photog who's looking for some pictures of riders in a bush setting with lighting.
This is a rather urgent requirement as they are looking to take some shots tomorrow evening (that's the Dec 8th) at dusk. I'm assuming that would be somewhere around 8pm.
I think this is something to do with an advocacy campaign so would be in riders interest to help out. Although I understand what a PITA it would be to kit up and get out there not to be able to ride was hoping some locals wouldn't mind taking a little time tomorrow to do that.

Photo shoot on a closed track, I hope the riders leave their garmin at home
Shouldn't ranger approval be sort for this if the track is still closed tomorrow night?
I would suggest that people meet at the school and take some shots by the trail entrance there.
Given there won't be any riding going on (just standing by your bike and smiling) don't see it's an issue.
would be the singletrack that runs down from teh aquatic centre to the pipeline easement?
Or do we need to have the "Trail Closed" sign in shot?
I could be up for it, since I live nearby. Depends on the traffic on the way home.
Edit: I'm out. Daughter wants driving lessons. Yes, scary stuff.

@boris... yup - this will certainly be on. 8pm at the school carpark. Corner of Gibbs St and Sunshine St.
i will come along provided i don't have to have the whole getup and can just come in what i normally ride in, shorts, t-tshirt, skate shoes, gloves and a helmet
