Been a few months since i did this hotlap so always happy to see some improvement in time.

If you see some skid marks heading into the trees halfway down the hill... that was me.... with my trademarked "flash of black" going into the bushes...

i did see that!
i knew someone was riding it that day. spent most of my lap trying to catch you, even though i had no idea how long the skid and tyre tracks had been there.

I was tweaking my rear brake the week before, but ended up ""untweaking"it instead. This has resulted in too much lever reach, not enough stopping power and a really weird grinding noise at high speeds (40kmh +). All this results in seeing a corner coming, applying the brakes, realising that im not slowing down, squeezing the S!@t out of the brakes, locking up and going bush instead of going around the corner!
I pulled everything apart last night and changed my rotor and pad set up - still have a bit too much reach - will work on it today.
Im still impressed with your time on the DH track! Very nice work indeed!

I did see a lockup at the top of one of the waterbars that was heading in the wrong direction and wondered how it got there. Good to hear you survived ok.
