The homepage doesn't say much, but the title, "Cycling around the world" gives a hint of what is to come:

Be sure to check out some posts on here, especially the salt flat ones... imagine riding across this... wow!

The "Where am I" page says it's impossible to set the route and I guess therefore know where he is. However... I know this particular Rob (and no, this isn't me for those that didn't get that yet) is on the shores of Lake Titicaca. How you ask? Well, a couple I know are riding around South America on a motorbike and reported meeting 'round the world Rob' yesterday.

They blogged,

The ride to the border was along the shores of Lake Titicaca; it was stunning. We had stopped on the brow of a hill to take some photos when over the brow came a lone cyclist. Rob, a Londoner, had left London over two years ago and had ridden from London to Australia, and was now riding from Ushuaia at the bottom of Argentina North, maybe all the way to the top of Alaska.

Wow!

I met this guy in July last year at Port Macquarie camping ground! Had a good chat to him then about his adventures which are absolutely amazing Smiling

I then saw him again later in the year riding through Narrabeen but I was driving in the other direction and unable to stop.

There's some wonderful photos on his website plus interesting reading of his adventures.

I've probably been past this guy in the last three months and ive recently come up from Ushuaia. The scenery throughout this part of SA is simply incredible.
And Rob, I'm guessing the salt flat is Salar de Uyuni? I spent Xmas here. It is utterly sublime!!

Will keep an eye out for him but there are a lot of cyclists here.

Right I'm off for another steak and Malbec!
