Felt really good today...bike running well after giving it a tweak yesterday... even got cadence working again. Rear tyre pressure low though...lost some time worrying about that.

Didn't push to hard on Heart break hill today. Think that gave me the legs to push on the fire trail to the single trail. Felt good up the hills to the golf course... OK.. I tried to push through the posts onto the golf course road... and did catchup my hand and go OTB.... only lost 15 seconds though Eye-wink

Had the legs to push through the single trail this time... up all the stairs without much trouble then pushed to final time.

If I could string the 1st half o my last ride together with the last half of this ride I'd be looking at a high 34...that's certainly the target for March!

Splits out of interest... and I start at the Parkway:

Parkway to the creek; 1:57
Top of Heart Break hill; 4:03
Top of single trail; under 9:44
Hydro lab; 16:00
School; under 18:55
Gold Course; under 27:22
Back to Parkway; 35:47

Well Done. I hit the Dam this arvo for a casual ride. Came flying around one of the bends on the fire trail right into the path of the ranger in his 4wd. Needless to say - i went bush - thru a million spider webs etc. Thought i got rid of most of the spiders until a minute later found a huge mofo under my handle bars.... Almost another OTN moment.

Mighty impressive to get to the school in under 19.

The splits are interesting. Gives me some info on where I need to concentrate. The data from those Garmins is quite comprehensive. Don't know if it would help me at all training wise but may have to get one (for "training purposes"...Eye-wink ).

Black Flash, have you heard the term "sh*t magnet" ever applied to yourself?

Yep - its been one of those years.... But on the positive - the spider didnt bite me!!!
Mind you - wifey is a bit sick and tired of it all...
Im probably accident prone tho.... you quickly learn the hard way about what you can and cant do...
But hey - life is for living...

I try to keep it inside the envelope. Stacks never used to hurt this much, did they? Puzzled
