Logo looks awesome Ali G (ar_junkie for those that don't know)

but I'm not sure the "baby blue" works for me. I don't think it compliments the maroon well and makes the text harder to see. That's just my opinion though and to be honest don't have a better suggestion.

Either way top effort to all involved, OK the two of you. Does look good.

Ali G I'm surprised you didn't go for a yellow background to match your track suit Eye-wink

Eh?

<switches to IE>

Doh!

OK, so it would appear that IE doesn't know how to render transparent PNGs. Well, this one at least. Will try and fix this up.

Hey Stuart,
Must be your browser... what version you using? I tried it in IE 7 and all's well. Rob sent me info that IE 6 can't display .png files (which the what the logo is) correctly...
Maybe time to upgrade? =;o)

ar_junkie's picture

Maybe you and Rob are onto a good thing wrt. the jerseys... =;o)
I can see the tag line now... "The Flying Custard"

So... the logo is now a GIF.

Tragic, lowest common denominator (browser) forces web design to use antiquated graphics format Sad

Stuart M's picture

Was just commenting that it "didn't work for me" as it turns out it wasn't working for my browser either.

It's lucky I'm still the lowest common denominator, imagine all those other "future" Nobbers stumbling across the site for the first time with their "antiquated" software to see a Baby f@#k#$g blue logo, they might think we are a bunch of Nobs (getting the picture now Carolin about being Nobbed?)

Just can't win with all you technophobs, one minute your having a go at people using the lattest MS software telling them to go back to XP and now you're being critical of those on the old software. Jeeze.

Eye-wink

ar_junkie's picture

That's why as a consumer/user, the safe road is to be 1 step behind the latest tech... Alternately just avoid MS where possible...
=;o)

So do you see the common target of these complaints? Sticking out tongue

Anyhow, the point is it wasn't supposed to be blue (yes, I know it's hard to believe Eye-wink And you know this anyhow) so back to GIF it went.

Stuart M's picture

beginning to understand the two of you miss the point totally. I'm not saying my software is better than yours, I'm a home dad for goodness sake, what am I to know? I support MS because young Mr Gates is such a good corporate citizen. I mean come on, just how many billion has this firefox guy donated to the worlds poor?

I mean seriously whats he done for the betterment(?) of mankind other than hanging around outside some naked yoga chicks appartment in a state of the art helicopter, or am I confusing him for some bad 80's movie?

BTW don't you guys change the software you use, clearly you can do more on yours than I can do on mine. Mine is bigger though, so I've been told (hehe)

Rob's picture

Yeah, it's a good point that you can't feel too bad about Gates given what he's up to on the charity front. IMHO he should help environment/animal protection charities of the world more, but that's just an opinion.

As FF is free I doubt there's the same $$$ to splash about. Giving us all an alternative to bug/virus/attack riddled S/W is charity enough if you ask me.

Anyhow, this is too far OT already... shhhhhhh Sticking out tongue
