Some obvious things:

- no separate rear derailleur hanger,
- dodgy front deralleur mounting,
- top swingarm looks to pass too close to where the seat QR would be
- Is that rivet on cable guides on the top tube?

I'd steer well clear unless you can get a ride and I'd be suspicious about wherever you heard about this from, are you sure it's genuine?

Ta,
Matt.

would steer clear of this one, looks nice when built up but it still has all of the above mentioned problems. Remember with mtb reliability is almost everything.

They sort of do it's just the entire seat stay. Still probably cheaper than replacing a hanger on a Santa Cruz.

Purely by chance someone posted some pics of an Ethos on MTB-OZ over the weekend, so I assume they like them. I think this guy is in Canberra so you couldn't meet and take a look, but he said:

Well I've had two in six years, Pete is a good guy and he learns more with each build and elvolves it. Mine is the same tubeset at the GG, I know two girls who have them, and as with mine they're built to your size and spec, so sizing is whatever you want. The chainstay on mine cracked after I assembled it incorrectly after a full strip down after last winter. Idiot.

So, yeh, if there's a girl who wants a good DH bike, with good size, it's worth a look.

Morgs is indeed from Canberra and certainly gives his bikes a good workout

I guess I should have actually read the website before being quite so negative... I'd still say give it a ride before you buy, and "Bio-pacing technology" brings back (completely unconnected) bad memories of oval chainrings ;-}.

I do like the look of the FRG, with 7inch of travel & pedals as well as the lighter bikes, so they claim! The colour choice they chose for the GG doesn't do it justice.

Once you hear more about top riders / pro's using and recommending these frames, that is the time to buy

They're custom bikes - so they come in any colour you want
