This ride is for girls only - (Nobettes) It will be social and not too fast - Sam, I believe you have a potential Nobette at home...and Rob we know you do!!!

Sandy and Karen and Leisa are coming and hopefully Caro as well...

The aim is to have FUN

MEEE Smiling

ps no, even if you are a wussy girly boy, unless you have the correct body parts you do not classify as a nobette...

I think we might need our own T-shirts... Eye-wink

pikey's picture

those with man boobs? (no names) Do they qualify?

Stuart M's picture

Apparently I can throw them in a bra but that still leaves me with where do I put the dangly bits....to date noone has offered to house them ;-O

Besides this ride may have to be postponed pending possible "equal opportunities" litigation currently before the courts.

Move the spiders from their big nasty scary webs and what if they get a flat tyre? I dont think the NRMA covers bikes Sad

and I'm of course willing to take care of Natalie while Krisz is out there with you guys - sorry: girls - having fun. you may have to support me there, though. Eye-wink

Rob's picture

OK, OK... less of the wise cracks fellas.

Christine - this is a top idea, what better way to get our better halves acquainted with the joys of MTB than with some fun away from the rowdy, macho, pi$$ taking throng... yes - you know who you are Sticking out tongue

I'm sure P will be game Smiling

Leisa's picture

Well, they pushed me down hills, rode into my bike and constantly laughed at me (or was that me that did all that........), but I survived and will be back for more. I have the bruises to prove that the 'girly' ride isn't all about picking flowers and talking about leg waxing. So brush your own cob webs aside boys.
Cheers,
Leisa

talking about leg waxing

I'd only expect that on the boys road ride.

Leisa's picture

Aaaahhh, being new to the whole 'bike' thing I forgot it is the boys who wax their legs. Mind you, being GORGEOUS Nobettes, our legs do go up to our arm pits, so you do the wax math...........

leximack's picture

mental note "make sure i go on the next ride Leisa go's on"

Stuart M's picture

if they do go that far I can spare a couple of hours next time you're waxing to "help out"

Cool Brittania etc. Those were the days. Gosh, I'm showing my age here.

Not all the boys with hairless legs wax them (or use other forms of hair removal).

+1 for hairless legs. They have made changing the dressing over the last 2 days much easier.

Its good to see so much support for newer members of the "not-a-club". Safe to say, I will not be riding without Leisa in future, great company that she is. But what was so interesting was the diverse nature of the conversation in an all girls ride. Forget waxing, it was the pole dancing debate that fired my imagination!

Stuart M's picture

of these. I'll probably look a bit like Pete Hellier (?) getting in to Fernwood but that won't matter will it?

peddle pusher's picture

At least no one mentioned the topless part of the ride!

Paul's picture

Stuart, I was worried about the girls all unprotected in the bush, especially as we approach funnel web and death adder season.

I suggest we both volunteer to protect the girls next time and if we have to ride topless, so be it.

Paul

along all the protection I'll need for going into the bush.

Ok, ok, sorry about that one but it was too good not too use, wasn't it?
