Well you guys asked me to post it, so here are the details:

Probably not the best track to have your first Downhill riding/racing experience on (severe understatement), but I hope some of you can come along and enjoy the show. There will be food, raffles, industry pit area and lots of great spectator vantage points along the track.

Awaba State Forest is located near Freemans Waterhole (Newcastle area) so my advice would be to organise an early morning (you don't want to be too late for the DH) ride in either the Glenrock or Killingworth areas as they're nearby and have some of the best singletrack in the Hunter region, then checkout the DH in the arvo.

would be great to get up Awaba for look, but worst luck, its on the same weekend as the Angry Doctor race in Mogo.

To many events & not enough time to be at them all, early retirement is looking good Smiling
