I went on my first mountain bike ride on saturday around the Manly dam track, it nealy killed me. I need to work on my fitness.
I must say i am hooked and i can't wait to get out for another ride once my body recovers.

Nice one Hermet! Although you say it almost killed you, you also sound keen as to get back out there - that's what it's all about.

It's nice to see a newbie getting out and giving things a go and not complaining. Out of interest ('cos there's been a lot of talk about this recently) how did you find the track? Easy to find the way? Were you walking many sections?

Good news is that the more you ride, the more you can ride!

Stuart and I took a newbie around Oxford Falls and he loved it, too!

After going for 10 rides lasting a couple of hours at a time, you will wonder how you ever thought a 1 hour ride would kill you. Keep it up champ!! You completed the hardest step today. Smiling And Manly Dam is an awesome place to get your practice in. We all love it. Laughing out loud

It was easy to find my way around the track it is quite well signed.
The track was not that difficult the bike made it easy, i could have never done it on my old BMX.
