... due to staying up to watch Cadel's incredible ITT result last night to snatch the TdF by over a minute thirty from Andy Schleck,
First time I've done this road ride, and it was beautifully scenic. Ended up going left at the end of McCarrs Ck Rd into Mona Vale via Bayview rather than returning to Terrey Hills village to try to extend the ride time out to the three hours.
Ha! so much for "easy endurance".
Some good hills in there, the climb back up from MV to Terrey Hills in particular. So now I know where to go when I want some hill training.
I think a few people out for a ride had stayed up and were motivated - lots of Cadel type big efforts going on today around Akuna & West Hd - Always nice to get drafted by a stranger for 10 kays
