I have not been rding for a while but cannot find out anything in reagrds to riding at Red Hill. Is it illegal to ride there now or something or has it been taken over by the developers *waves fist in air and mumbles like Homer "those damn developers".
If so where can my firned ride his new bike, he is itching to go out and so am I.

Red Hill is going to be like a swimming pool so I would not be riding a new (or any) bike for there for at least another couple of weeks.

Not sure why the status update got removed but as we have only had good weather over the last 7 days the place will still be a messy bog. I would avoid it for a while if i were you.

The status updates self expire from the side but they are stored for historical purposes on the ride profile

@nrthrnben, you're right about the motos. We were there walking it 2 weekends ago, and the trails at the foot of Drop Zone have been pretty much destroyed by them, and the rock faces on DZ damaged as well. lots of other places as well, too many to name.

All the gear and no idea Sad

I'm probably a bit better than an intermediate rider, do you reckon this trail would be possible for me. I can do manly dam well but the page says its pretty technical. Also are there any jumps Smiling could you recommend a place with many jumps Smiling

There is an XC loop there ... somewhere. But very wet at the moment. Sandy Sydney soils are not very drive train- or brake-friendly in the wet.

Anyone above average riding proficiency will love the Red Hill trails. If you have never been, best go with someone that knows the area. I wouldn't recommend a single rider as it is easy to get lost.

1, 2 and 3 going?

Has any maintenance been done of late?

I rode those early last year and they were looking pretty sorry for themselves. Would be eager to lend a hand to get them looking happy again though.
