Free Ayup upgrade. Or Lights needed urgently
I have heard you can upgrade your Ayup lux lights to a cree system for free.
If anyone is Keen I would love to buy your old lux lights off you.
I need three helmet mount lights for the Scott 24hour in three weeks time.
Can anyone help?
Matt

i dont think it was a free upgrade, more like $60 per light i think, still very cheap though.
I am sure there would be lux owners wanting to get rid of there old lights for around the $40-50 i would think.
You will need to buy batteries, chargers, mounts etc though so it may be easier/cheaper to buy a kit anyway.
If I can buy the Lux of someone for $60 each then their upgrade would be free. And for me it would still be cheaper than buying a kit
If you interested then let me know.

Cool
thanks Andrew
How many do you have and where can I pick them up from?
Matt
I have two lights and a regular set of battery's (2x3hr 1x6hr)
The lights are red and blue.
As I'm upgrading my lights, then I still need my battery's and mounts, but if you like I could add another battery set to my order for you? and you can have the new set.
I work in the city near Australia Square and live in St Leonards just around the corner from the station. I'm happy for you to pick them up somewhere near either, or even at a ride after work.
Andrew
Can I pick them up off you early next week? I am heading away for the long weekend.
Cheers
Matt
After Wednesday would be better for me.
Andrew

Matt
Andrew have you sent your upgrade order yet?
If not when are you going to and could you add a battery on for me?
I need it and one of your lights (luxeons) by Friday next week if possible?
Cheers

Hi Matt,
My order has already arrived, they took less than 24 hours to arrive after I placed the order which is sweet.
I'd also rather sell both my lights together as i'm going to find it harder to sell my remaining light to someone else.
Andrew from AyUp is riding in the scott, so you might be able to arrange a set of battery's to be picked on on Saturday.
Let me know what you would like to do.
Andrew
