Stromlo anyone?
Looks like there's a few ride offers floating around for long weekend but really keen to get a day down at stromlo forest to see the now open DH track. Im definatly no "sam hill" but i did a bit back in the uk last year, and since moving here i have bought a bike and keen to see whats out of sydney.
Anyway, if anybody wants to join me for a day on monday (v.early start, does anybody know is this a viable journey for a day?) ill drive my ute for fuel chip ins. probs fit three in max but only two bikes. Or we could convoy?
Anyway, id welcome any interest or thoughts on this......

Matt, we did a stromlo day trip a few weeks ago, it was a long day with 7+hrs of car time but well worth it!
yeh ur gonna want to shuttle that one, we walked it once and nearly killed us lol so 2+ vehicles min i think, but theres plenty of good xc tracks around too.. cant make this weekend myself, but was thinking of scheduling a big one for sat 3rd nov (nate, lee, dez, bruce, steve, u keen?
)
Ok mate thinking i might shelf the idea until the 3rd nov, be good to meet some like minded fellas! been on this site for a bit now, but for whatever reasons not managed a ride with any of them yet. keep me posted on the plan.

3rd nov is no good for me, but i'm definitely keen to go down and do the DH a bit more on the new bike (last time i was there i was on v-brakes, also the day Gazza busted both arms!) and check out some of the lycraphile stuff.

Stromlo DH is awesome, so much work put into it, A, B, C lines on most everything, and no trees to crash into!
You're teasing me mate, sounds good although probs a bit rusty at the moment so itll be more c lines than A's!! Last time i did full DH was innerliethan in scotland. Lots of trees , mud and it was freezing!so a bit different. amazing though.
Datewise ,itll be good to go with the date that the most people can make. I think im ok for 20th/21st or 3rd nov......just realised actually not good for the 20th/21st! i have a wedding., well if it suits the majority though, go ahead.
