Big BBQ Day @ Ourimbah *changed to 20th oct.
After a chat with a few of the guys, we thought of having a big day at Ourimbah, shuttling heaps of runs, doing some xc stuff and having a BBQ in the middle to refuel 
So i emailed Alan at CCOMTB to check if this was okies, and just heard back no probs as long as hes invited hehe..
So thinking for next sat 6th Oct *changing to 21st oct, as everyone has stuff on next sat! starting at say 9:30/10...
I will need to know whos keen and exactly how many so i can organise food (i am a chef so thats kinda handy, and i can get meat etc. through work, and we can sort it out on the day)
and although i have a BBQ, it is kinda huge so i will need either someone with a big ute or something to pick me/it up, but preferably does anyone have a smaller more portable option?

I've been working on getting a small bbq, I'll keep ya posted.
6th oct, most will be at Majura pines and I'm out for the following (13/14th). My next would be 20/21st, we'll be super hungry by then!
Should be good, i have a little Weber portable BBQ, small but makes a nice smoker box... i'll check to see whether that works or not. If not, those little Hibachis or single burner round BBQ's don't cost alot at all. Set up at the top of Demtel hill and bring along a few free sets of steak knives
sweet as, allan has recommended that we set up near the gate in the carpark (without blocking it) and seeing as its their turf, i think thats the ticket-
bbq is sorted thanks to ebay, 21st is cool.
-I just realised that the 21st is Dez's clean up day at OF, I am happy to do Ourimbah on Sat 20th so we can help out? depends on everyones schedule. or, we could spend some time collecting litter at ourimbah?

Hi Alex sounds like a tasty one , I will have to confirm it with the family for that date and I have the clean up day at OX Falls the next morning but all going well Ill be coming too , PM me as to food costs and any help you need from a fellow chef .
hmmmmm I can almost smell that aroma of charcoal seared bovine mixed with forest gum tree, beer and DH sweat.

I've heard there's likely to be a track maintenance day at Ourimbah on the 21st so if you're prepared to out in a few hours work you might be able to get a free feed. I'll post more details when I know.
hmm happy to help out up ourimbah way, might be worth re-schcedulling the actual bbq day though.. oh hang on you mean the 20th (sat) or the 21st (sun)? *my fault for getting the date wrong in the first place! the bbq would have to be a saturday for me...
