Dragging pads

I just put some new break pads and fluid in my Hayes 9 (front brakes) on thursday last week. I rode about 100km on the weekend and midway through my race (BYBF) i noticed that they were starting to constantly drag. Nothing major but i know that they're not meant to rub at all with the disc.
The disc isn't warped, the front caliper is in seemingly good condition and i just gave my bike a thorough cleaning but the rubbing sound is still persisting.
Any suggestions?

The pistons may be sticking out a bit. You can gently ease them back in with a flat screwdriver

Just make sure the caliper is aligned properly and the pads and discs are clean.

had this problem recently myself. The problem was the built up pad dust had turned into a kind of sludge that stuck to the piston walls. Cleaning it off with brake cleaner and a cotton bud helped, but it took several goes before both pistons moved uniformly again.
