Thats the blue square rated trail, easiest trail on the mountain but great flow!

I dont think there would be any pedaling if you let the brakes off Smiling

So you are more of a downhill man now hawkeye?

Those trails look great fun.

I'm over in Christchurch for a week biking with my bro in December. If the trails there are anything like these, it'll be a great week.

Christchurch is awesome.

Heaps of runs to shuttle with 450m plus vertical runs, mix of difficulty.

Also check out Craigieburn, starts out at ski field cutting across rocky scree slope before heaps of flowy pumpy trail. Has an option part way down where you climb over to other valley. Wicked views in alps, both good runs.

Mt Hutt is also worth a day trip, should be shuttles on in summer. We were there in May so shuttled ourselves. Natural High have trailers for hire. Was steep, fast and slightly slimy making for some drifting skills.

We had 2.5 weeks in NZ, bought the Drop In series they filmed in NZ and based trip on this.

Can also pick up shuttle trailer in Christchurch and return to Natural High in Auckland depot.
