Trails in and around Bowral?
I'm heading down to Bowral for a wedding this weekend and going to take the bike along. Other than Wingello and Penrose are there any other trails that are closer to Bowral? I want to get a sneaky couple of hours in but preferably not have to drive to them, so the missus can have the car.
Thanks.

You might not make it to the wedding after though
Had this very same "problem" a few weeks back. Suggest the single track in Welby (next to Mittagong) as an excellent way to spend a couple of hours.
I've got some basic notes on the area if needed.
Phil ,welby is fun little track, close to town and near the cemetry, worth a look
I did one of the shop training rides last year which started on the west side of Bowral station and took in Welby as well as a few other bits of single track along the way. Was about 2.5 hrs at a decent pace and ended back in Bowral on the eastern side of town. I'm sure someone could either show you around or give you directions. http://mcgeescycling.com/
there is also a track at Goulburn 2 actually but you won't be venturing that far so give welby a blast or there is a 6km track on my brothers property or a 8 km firetrail ride behind his place for a warm up down at Marulan .
I went for a jolly around Welby. There were trails heading off in every direction, plenty of signage and bunting so knew I wasn't getting too lost. It's was plenty to keep me busy for a couple of hours. There was even a small DH/jumps section that I had a play on too. I'll post the ride profile when I get a sec. Thanks again.
yeah it's a fun spot wouldn,t mind getting up there again soon
