Gary, I have what we affectionately call the "Town Bike" (a bike I lend it to anyone looking for a ride).
It's my first dually a 1996 Specialized FSR Ground Control, cobalt blue with red Manitou Answer forks. It has nearly 3 inches of plush elastomer travel upfront and 3 inches of coil over air shock in the rear with a 4 bar linkage. Other features include V brakes, riser bars, 21 gears with grip shift - everything that was state of the art in 1996 and everything thats slightly old fashion in 2007.

I'm not looking to sell it (because of sentimental reasons and its not worth anything), but I'm happy to lend it to your missus for an extended time until something comes along.

Geez...if you were to read only the first words of Paul's post as well you'd think no one says anything nice about their wives on here.

they don't!
they are too busy saying nice things about their bikes...

That's because your average dually is less complicated than a wife and men know exactly how to treat them.
Some take them into the bush and ride them hard,
Other like to jump them in the bush with their mates watching,
I even heard of people lending them to their mates to have a go,
Taking pictures of them with you aboard is common place,
As is upgrading their parts to enhance performance.

At the end of a day only one of them appreciates being lubed up before hand, hosed down afterward, sleeps in the garage, and looks forward to a regular service.
