Has it got wheels and handle bars? And pedals and stuff? Can you ride it? Do you have fun while riding it?
If you answer "Yes" then sure - it's a good bike
+1 Rob
The word "trail" says it all. You have a 'trail' bike, that is a basic hardtail framed bike most useful for riding on the road, fireroads, or maybe some more elementary single track. If you want to do something more enjoyable off-road, you would need a better bike. But if that is all you use it for, then you are all sorted and have a great bike for the purpose.
Good enough for a first mtb. I wouldn't bother spending up on upgrades, though, just replace bits as they fail (new bits can be nicer ones) and be saving for the bike you really want.
