Yep count me in. Anyone want to share a tent or something similar? I only have a crappy Kmart level tent that can fit 2-3 people. It'd probably do the job as long as it doesn't blow a gale
I also have a no frills K-mart tent that can fit 2 or 3 and some other gear.
as well
... Yes, in my new Van, did a test sleep at Phillip Island last weekend!!!
Bernd
I plan on camping if I can remember how to put the thing up.
In total 6 man tent luxury.
John.
"Believe it or not, non-cyclists sometimes think have something interesting to say!"
I, like Bernd, am planning on the in car type of camping.
Count me in.
Greg.
ps: is there showers at the camp site?
christine and myself will be coming down for moral support/cheerleading/groupie/drinking buddy duties so we'll be camping in a fairly posh tent which has a bike compartment if anyone wishes to hide a bike in there overnight?
what happened to doing the 50 Christine?
I will be camping too.
and they had closed the entries - i AM on the waiting list though
anyone who isn't riding fancy a social ride somewhere around there on the Sunday?
...and I wasn't the only one too late to enter was I? NO! I know of a few others...
I will be camping too! Martine
Count me in too!
maybe for me, might be staying at a friends mums place in a nice warm bed.
will confirm later
Don
I'll be there 100km here we come
I'm camping
Was planning on an early drive down, but probably will end up going down on Saturday...
Who is still doing the 110km?
I'm doing the 110km I'll be trying to beat last years time of 6h11m but I suspect I haven't had enough training
John

Me.
Seriously thinking of doing the 50, no where near enough time in the mtb saddle.
Ev
Couple of points to consider if you are thinking of changing you category for the Fling:
1. Changes have to be in before 8pm Thursday 8 November.
2. There is a 'Sag Wagon' at this event which allows you to skip the last 27Km if you feel you cannot go on after the Forests NSW Stage (after 82Km).
Choose wisely!
i know how you feel ev, in the last month i have maybe been on the bike 150km. And that included a Scott 24hr. to make it worse i have been sick for the last week and only starting to get over it now, so probably only get a few short rides between now and then. I am still going to tackle the 100, but will be a slow one i think. Probably going to skip the gong ride to make sure i am fully over this flew i have.
Don
As I've stated before,
I did the 100 two years ago half unfit on a dual crown downhill rig. No food only gu and powerbars and ran out of water. For the amount we all ride these days the majority of regular NoBMoB riders would shit it in!
Greg
i think were just making excuses, so when we roll into the finish after 9hrs we can point back to our earlier posts of poor form, no riding and sickness.
Or maybe its just me
I am looking forward to it though, cant wait
Don
p.s - mental note, better go out to the garage and clean cobwebs off bike, lube the chain and pump up tyres, better tighten bolts too, dont want no "specialised" type failure
Still suffering gastric problems since the Mont (got a really bad belly) and not in good shape. Had a few low key rides last week, but been off the bike this weekend trying to give my body a chance to recover.
Christine, if i'm not up to it would you like to take my place?
Whisperer
.... as one of your coaches and mentors you are now at your pinnacle of strength.
You are race fit and mentally tuned, ready to take on this latest test. Your endurance!
Jeff & I know you are ready, only now it is you that must find your inner strength to go forward and complete the next phase of your training.
Your call our little rock princess?
Pikey one kanobi
So what time is everyone planning on heading down there on Saturday?
Ben
I'm planning to leave early afternoon (around 1.30pm) so there's no rush to set up camp and register (open from 3.00pm).
If it's possible to fit in a pedal to loosen up that would be great (I didn't touch the bike this weekend). If not I might just cruise around Bundanoon checking things out.
Paul
Yes I do the same, will leave about 1pm.
I'd love to "fit in a pedal", too.
Bernd
no camping for me, i have lined up a nice warm bed at Keiths mother in laws place who lives in bundanoon. (keith is in for the full fling also)
Good luck out there and catch up with you all Sunday morning
Don
are out too - George isn't coming down and I am going to have to work all weekend...
will try really hard for a day trip
not happy...
I'll leave around 1pm also, hopefully we can camp in a similar area to each other, I guess we could then call it NoB parade, unless there's a better suggestion?
John.
