Chris went off to study Conservation, Land Management and Bushfire Management and has landed a job with the RFS doing remote area fire mitigation and reduction work.
Everybody knows mountain bikers are environmental vandals, the thin end of the wedge for motorbikes getting into national parks and all sorts of environmental evils in Pristine Garigal Natinoal Park. The lady with the petition at Forestville shops said so, so it must be true.
It therefore simply isn't possible that a mountain biker could have the slightest interest in conservation and land management.

there are also more friends in conservation than you may think
