99 Bikes Artarmon
Driving home tonight noticed a new bike shop in the old Straithfield Car Radio building at Artarmon. 99 bikes, searched the web looks like a Queensland based company.
Anyone heard or had any dealings with this company?
With KOM at Crows Nest gone, wonder how they will fare.

yep qld based store, did come up with some good advertisements, like the green team ,where they chose 5 people from previous customers, and handed them all free bikes, servicing and outfits for 12 months if they rode to work i think at least 3 times a week, did have (not sure if they still do ) there own in house brand, from memory they also stocked Merida and apollo, but i am un aware of there stock list now, like all shops some had really good service and others were just rubbish, i hope the Artarmon store is a good one, but they must be doing ok they started with only 2 - 3 stores in brissy
99 Bikes were recently advertising for staff for their new Sydney store and on the advert it said they were owned by Flight Centre. So you get the perks of working for a bike shop and also a travel co. Flight centre have been long time sponsors of the The Epic held in SEQ.
According to the below news, Flight Centre LTD are also the importers of Merida Bikes (2008-11)

Some good prices in there on bits and pieces. Not too much range though. Well worth a look if you're nearby.
my bought a hybrid CUBE from them b4 Xmas & is happy so far with it
Their online shop isn't bad and pricing is pretty good too.
I ordered some pedals from them. They rang me to say the ones they had in stock had blemishes, if I wanted I could wait a couple of days and they would have some brand new ones in. That's pretty good service in my books.
Cheers
