And now that I'm not hung over like an old trout...
I'm new to the area and am a cycle courier. Rode cross country a lot at home, racing and suchlike and just want to get into it. Went out and blew my tax rebate on a mountain bike, and want to find some people to out and give it a good thrashing with. Available to ride weekends, and would loe to get something organised for this weekend, anybody interested drop me a line. Living in manly, and have lost my car keys (kept both sets on one keyring, very smart!) so probably only able to get anywhere local... unless you can give me a lift, I have a rack to mount on a car so can help out there!
then you must ride with me - i lost mine on track at the Fling last year and didn't have a spare so yes, had to be towed home! most embarassing!
I am keen to ride on the weekend but would prefer Saturday if you can do it otherwise will join you Sunday...
Where do you want to go?
MEEEE
ps i have a ute so can fit your bike in there if you need...
but will get back to you on a day, have an alleycat on friday night so not sure if I'll be able to walk saurday morning! definitely keen for this weekend though so long as you don't lose your keys between now and then - Don't really know the local trails, so that's up to you I guess!
I can do either, just ignore me - what time are you thinking and what kind of trail do you want to do? cross country would be terrey hills or around there i guess or we can do manly dam...oxford falls i really don't mind... it's easy for me to disinfect on a weekend (i have horses with no flu!)

Sunday it is! I'd sayyy 9:30? don't want it to be too hot... somewhere with a good loop, or an epic long ride, maybe surprise me on the day! Anybody else up for this?
hmm bike courier & experienced Christine could be too fit for me to keep up with but I'll meet you there anyway. A fit courier could do multiple laps. You and Christine can wave back at me (bit of a newbie) as you lap me. Think a friend or two of mine might come along too so I don't feel so slow.
9:30 am sounds nice, somebody make an event and I'll click the little star.
You've a few options for this.
Standard loop:

Add on Chiltern:

Add on Waratah:

Must make these links easier to find.
Hiya!
I am interested in a XC ride on Sunday too!
TH sounds good.
Christine this might be our 2nd Sydney ride together! Can it be possible? Maybe a miracle!
Looks like rain from Friday through to late next week.
These trails are very resilient to rain and drain really well. Like water off a ducks... [groan]...
if the others see you write christine and experienced in the context of mountain bike riding they will all fall off their chairs!
however! I am happy to do duck ponds and central - Caro, we may make ride two after all!! wooo hoooo!!!
see you at the shops at this lovely later ride time!
MEEEE
oh! i will ride unless its pouring...
Experienced Christine cant even remember its "Duck Hole" not "Duck Ponds"
for some xc TH epic action
actually, horsey people call it duck ponds...i haven't totally converted yet!
Don't be so harsh on yourself, even on your worst day I wouldn't call you horsey.
