Husky 100
This being my first 100 I was unsure of an exact time to aim for but was hoping to go under 6 hrs as I had been doing in training.I started at the back of the second group and just sat on wheels around the golf course and into the first decent.
The first bog came upend I saw someone in front go OTB when their front wheel stopped. The rider briefing ringing in my ears ,ALL creeks are rideable. The rest of the first 20 km were pretty uneventful. After we crossed The main road I lost all the low gears ,then to make it abit harder the fast rings went as well.
60km of only the middlegears used up more energy than I had hoped but has having a fun duel with the group around me, the single track was great fun and was by far the best part of the race.
At about 80 km I got the low gears back but at this stage I really didn't need them to much .The last 20 went very quickly and it was a relief to see the golf course again.I used the endura recovery formula and was back on the bike the next day with the kid and have been fine at work.
As for next year I think I will wait and see how wet it is in the lead up,looking forward to the next 100.
Congratulations to all who finished , That was tough on the mind and machinery.

Sorry about the incorrect time ,it's meant to be 6hrs 21minutes
Well done on finishing in a respectable time. I think you picked last years ride meeting to attach your blog to. If you click on the edit tab it should be possible to move it to this years race (thats if you want to).
