That's some monster trunks, but it doesn't mean he will be the fastest. His heart will have to work alot harder than the other cyclists to keep the blood pumping thru those trunks and keep them moving. His heart rate will max out alot sooner and once a heart rate maxes out you can only go so far before you need to rest. An athlete with a better cardio may not hit the same high speeds but will be able to go alot further.
I certainly keen to see how he does in the sprints. Can't imagine him doing to well in the mountain bike event.
