Terry hills hazard reduction burn - trail status wanted

Hi,
Any Terry Hills locals know if Perim and Long will be open for the weekend after the hazard reductions burns? The RFS website still lists it as a going concern and the track status is red on this site.
Any updates for the w/e?

There has been Hazard tape put across most of the entrances to Perimeter over the last few days partially to the risk of falling trees following the burns. I do notice this morning that some of the tape had been torn to allow access by people ignoring the warnings.

Ride Duckholes / Centre trails instead.

There was a sign this morning saying all the trails were closed

I'd still stay away... the fire got VERY out of control, so the risk of falling trees will still be high. Wait until RFS advises a change.

Duck / Centre / Chiltern is in excellent condition...

Asked as I wanted to get some hours in the saddle for the Fling (still deciding if I'm in it) so Centre and Duck 6 times is prob not ideal - might do a road session instead.
Cheers

Try in addition to DH+C, adding on Waratah, Elvina, and Towlers Bay out-n-backs if you want some hills for the Fling. Or Oaks in reverse Smiling

Are Perimeter and long back in action?
