So, Al, can we expect a new "Big" descent to be linked in this year??????? Please figure out how to bend space and get it and Back 9 and Sideshow and Rolling thunder and Beer Garden all included.
A bridge/tunnel would do the trick.
Looks like you are getting your bridge.
How are you planning to ride with the 20.3km long laps?
Ack! No Rolling Thunder. I love that track. Hopefully the Far East will make up for it.
As for strategy...I plan on riding the down hills flat out and the up hills slowly. Not like I've got any say in the matter for the climbs, lol.
I think my accomodation should be set up & ready for me by now , it helps if you know someone to get a good spot very close to Central HQ . See you all down there on Sat or Sunday some time have fun ppl .
Do they have live results for this race?
Live results here

Results aren't being updated.
Live results are working. Lupine Racing are 3rd on 13 laps with a total time of 13:13:13
Still 3rd after 21 laps
Status says complete but I'm sure there's still a few laps to go since last updated.
lupine racing 3rd in masters 6'ers and 19th outright on 24 laps ,fantastic event.
Well done. Craig, were you on the new bike?
No new bike yet, but I had a good loan bike
Well done Craig and co...
What was the loan bike and what's the new bike ??
how good was the weather for us down there all weekend , I like to go back there a gain & explore the place a bit more
Haha, I didn't recognise you smiley. With all that weight you shed you're a new man! well done
Great event.
This was my 1st 24hr and I was part of one of 2 x 6 man team's. Didn't know many of the other team members but was welcomed from the start and met a great bunch of blokes.
I was riding 2nd in our group, 1st lap was just over 57min, 2nd lap 58:29 and my 3rd 59:56. Unfortunately I snapped my chain early on my 4th lap. I had my multi tool (which took minutes to get off the bike due to the cold hands and stiff sticky tape holding it on!) but stupidly forgot a quick link. I tried to force a pin back through to join the chain but had no luck. After asking about 30 blokes for a link, one fantastic champion had one - In my frustration and haste I didn't even get his number plate to thank him later (thanked him profusely on the spot). Finished that lap in 1:09. Finished up 11th in 6 man opens.
Didn't get any sleep really, was tired as hell but would love to do another 24hr.
