2011 Anthem x2 headset/steerer size?

Hey
Just wondering if anyone can confirm for me the steerer diameter on the 2011 Anthems, as I want to buy a shorter stem. The pages for 2012 models clearly state that they have overdrive two headset which have 1 1/4" but 2011 model merely state that they have tapered headsets which would lead me to think that they are the more common 1 1/8". Can anyone confirm this for me?

The 2011 Anthem X has the overdrive, not the overdrive 2.
The steerer is 1 1/8 at the top and tapers to 1 1/2 at the bottom.
The 2012 Anthem X has the overdrive 2 which has the steerer 1 1/4 "at the top and it tapers to 1 1/2 at the bottom.
Unless someone has changed your forks. If its straight from the factory its the OverDrive head set.

in the overview. It talks about OverDrive which was the original introduction of tapred Headsets for Giant Bikes
2012 they went further & introduced the OverDrive2 System
so in short. yes i'm happy to confirm your suspicion.

that is what I thought, it was just confusing as when you do a google search for overdrive headsets all the pages talk about 1 1/4" steerers but I had a feeling that was for overdrive 2.
